African American Aviators Tour

Middle School Through Adult Groups

College Park Airport is the site of many firsts in aviation, but racism still influenced who was able to participate in those accomplishments. This tour covers early African American aviators and their connections to the planes and objects on display. From John Greene and the establishment of Croom Airfield to the Tuskegee Airmen, learn about the notable aviators who broke the ceiling in order for others to fly.

This tour is suggested for middle school to senior citizens and by special request only. To book your tour, please email Daniel Graham or call us at 301-864-5314.
