Plan Your Visit at Billingsley

Special Instruction

All visitors, guests and vendors must enter the Billingsley property through the WSSC Treatment Facility which is located on Maude Savoy Brown Road (directions given below).  A GPS or Mapquest should not be used to obtain directions, as you will be directed to use Green Landing Road, which is a private road.

Location/Directions

Located 9 miles east of the Washington Beltway (I-95) near the intersection of Maryland Route 4 (Pennsylvania Avenue) and U.S. Route 301 South, in a section of Patuxent River Park, southeast of Upper Marlboro.

From the Capital Beltway, take exit 11A (Pennsylvania Avenue, Route 4 South/East). Proceed 8 miles and exit onto Route 301 South. Immediately after the next traffic light (Giant Food is on left) turn left at the flashing yellow lights, crossing over Route 301 North to Maude Savoy Brown Road. At the stop sign take a left and follow road past the gate house onto WSSC property. (You must announce your destination at the gate call box.) Follow Billingsley signs to very narrow road over bridge park property. Drive slowly along paved road to the only possible right turn — Green Landing Road. Follow road to the house at the end and make a right into parking lot.

From Waldorf and Points South, take Route 301 North. When Route 5 and Route 301 split, continue on Route 301 North for approximately 11 miles. There will be overhead flashing yellow lights followed by railroad tracks. Immediately after tracks, turn right onto Maude Savoy Brown Road. At the stop sign take a left and follow road past the gate house onto WSSC property. (You must announce your destination at the gate call box). Follow Billingsley signs to very narrow road over bridge park property. Drive slowly along paved road to the only possible right turn – Green Landing Road. Follow road to the house at the end and make a right into parking lot.
