Changes in Transportation Tour
Museum visitors will travel through time, from the early years of the Wright Brothers’ airplanes through present-day, and experience how and why airplanes have changed. They will enjoy a hands-on experience of becoming a pilot, and see how flight gear changed as airplanes improved.

Exploring Airmail Tour
Our Exploring Airmail Tour focuses on the important figures and flights involved during the start of the Postal Service airmail deliveries from 1918 to 1921. The Museum provides a unique and special outlook on this time period as the College Park Airport was the site of the first airmail delivery. Visitors will have the chance to explore the history of airmail while examining planes, artifacts, and primary source documents in the museum.

Flying Through Books! Tour
Students will learn about how airplanes have changed from the early years of aviation through present-day. They will enjoy a hands-on experience of becoming a pilot, and enjoy interactive activities in our hands-on room and instructional space.
