Reserve Your Visit at Marietta

Marietta House Museum’s guided tour “Giving Voice at Marietta” is an inclusive tour in the historic structures and across the grounds. Marietta House Museum recalls histories of multiple generations of families, free and enslaved, who lived and labored on the roughly 690 acres that made up Marietta, an 18th and 19th-century tobacco plantation. The historic site holds the stories of how life was lived in agricultural Maryland from the Federal Era to Reconstruction. Together we explore and elevate the stories of Marietta’s historic inhabitants, their interconnected relationships, and their legacy today.

Marietta House Museum offers a 75-minute guided tour Tuesdays through Fridays. Tour times are 11 am, 1 pm. and 3 pm.
