The Morgan Boulevard and Vicinity Study and Action Plan will evaluate development potentials of existing and programmed development surrounding the study area, including the Regional Medical Center and continued development at Woodmore Town Center. The study and action plan will provide market-driven strategies and actions needed to implement development concepts and provide public officials the tools to make fiscal and public policy decisions.
Project Goals and Objectives
To assess development potential and identify opportunities, specific land uses, and development concepts for developable land within the study area.
To develop an action plan and implementation program that will identify the role of government and the private sector, timelines, and potential phasing in the short- and long-term.
To assess the feasibility of introducing complementary uses to the parking lot adjacent to FedEx Field. This would benefit the County, stadium owners, patrons, residents of the surrounding community, and attract patrons when there are no scheduled events at the stadium.
